Ricardo Pereira’s latest social media posted featured a Leicester City player who has spent the season out on loan.
Pereira is out with a long-term injury and has been recovering away from the first team as he tries to return to full fitness.
The right-back has spent many days in the gym building back up strength in his leg and will have to wait a while before appearing under new Foxes boss, Ruud van Nistelrooy.
This time however, in his latest Instagram post, the seven-time Portugal international was joined by a surprise teammate.

Ben Nelson spotted at Leicester training ground
Abdul Fatawu is another player out with a long-term injury and won’t feature for the rest of the season, but another player destined for a spell on the sidelines is young talent Ben Nelson.
After breaking into the first-team last season, the Leicester academy graduate was sent out on loan to Championship side Oxford United to gain minutes at a senior level.
Nelson had established himself as a first-team regular before the 20-year-old picked up a serious injury.
With Nelson due for a similar spell of time on the sidelines to Pereira, the young defender returned to the Foxes’ Seagrave training centre to continue his recovery.
He was spotted in Pereira’s latest Instagram story after another recovery session, laying on the floor.

When will Ricardo Pereira return from injury?
Although no timeline has been set on when the full-back return, it’s unlikely Pereira will be in action until next year.
Former Leicester boss Steve Cooper revealed that Pereira would be out for up to four months back in November, meaning that February 2025 could be the earliest we see him.
This is the 31-year-old’s third major injury in less than five years and now he isn’t getting any younger, other options may be looked at.
