Ruud van Nistelrooy to stay on as Leicester City manager
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future looked to be in doubt after he appeared to concede defeat on the Foxes’ Premier League journey and his own managerial reign.
The Dutchman has been lambasted in the media and taken a lot of flack for Leicester’s slide down the table and failure to score any goals in a home league game since 8 December – his second game in charge.
But, Van Nistelrooy isn’t planning on throwing in the towel and is committed to staying for “as long as I’m needed”.

Ricardo Pereira could make first start in five months
After making no changes to his starting XI for the Newcastle United defeat, the Leicester boss may have no other option but to rotate this time around.
A knock picked up by Wout Faes midweek means the Belgian defender could be absent, paving the way for Ricardo Pereira to make a first start in five months should the Foxes revert to a four-at-the-back.

Enzo Maresca advised how to get the best out of Pereira and it seems that Van Nistelrooy is on board with the idea.

Southampton make move that Leicester should be considering
Jon Rudkin’s position is under-fire, as it has been all season.
More fan protests took place midway through the Newcastle hammering and even Richard Keys pointed the finger at Rudkin for his role in the calamitous season.
Southampton are another club where the fans have voiced their displeasure towards the owners but, with relegation to the second tier already confirmed, plans are being made so that they can ensure they are in the best possible place for an instant return to the Premier League.
One of those decisions is for their owners, Sport Republic, to hire Mariela Nisotaki as their head of talent acquisation.
A highly-regarded scout, joining from Norwich City, Nisotaki has been credited for delving into the South American market and has a good track record of unearthing gems such as previous Leicester target Gabriel Sara.
