Although no names were mentioned, it was clear that Ruud van Nistelrooy was unhappy with one Leicester City player after Saturday’s defeat against Aston Villa.
Leicester were beaten 2-1 at Villa as goals from Ross Barkley and Leon Bailey either side of Stephy Mavididi’s equaliser condemned the Foxes to a fifth straight loss.
Defeat meant that Van Nistelrooy equalled an abysmal 22-year record in which Leicester have conceded at least two goals per game and lost five on the bounce for the first time since September/October 2003.
It leaves the Foxes 19th in the Premier League table, with rivals Ipswich Town and Wolves yet to play at the time of writing and capable of increasing the gap to safety.

Once again, it was individual errors that cost Leicester and it seems that Van Nistelrooy is also getting tired of them.

Ruud van Nistelrooy pinpoints the moment Leicester City lost at Aston Villa
The Foxes were the architects of their own downfall after working so hard and it was a familiar theme.
With Leicester looking good value for a point, the self-destruct button was hit when James Justin took far too long to clear his lines, instead choosing a pass to Jordan Ayew that was never on.
Villa’s Ian Maatsen nipped in, left Ayew and Justin in the cold and fizzed the ball along the ground into the box for Leon Bailey to score.

Many Leicester fans want Justin dropped after the latest mishap and whilst Van Nistelrooy didn’t directly name him in his post-match interview, it was evident to see that he wasn’t overly happy with the full-back.
“It’s clear,” the Leicester boss said.
“You’ve seen it, I’ve seen it and the players know. So there’s no need to emphasise it. I can’t hold anything against anyone because it was an honest mistake.
“Nobody wanted to give the ball away in such moments, but it’s something you have to learn from because it’s costing you. It would have been a hard fought point away at Villa and a positive. Every week we’re getting closer to converting good performances into results.”
Ruud van Nistelrooy reveals Leicester’s transfer plans as fans demand defensive reinforcements
Leicester are yet to make a signing this transfer window despite a whole host of links.
After the latest defensive error, Foxes fans have called for new defenders to come to the King Power Stadium.
Van Nistelrooy was quizzed about new additions and where Leicester were specifically targeting fresh faces but, rather than identify one position, the 48-year-old said they would keep their options open everywhere.

He said: “We’re looking at the possibilities and when the possibility is right for the club, we are looking to take them.
“We’re looking in all areas, possibilities to strengthen, not necessarily in a certain position. Everywhere in the squad.”
