It’s going to take a miracle for Leicester City to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season after an abysmal run of form.
Leicester were comfortably beaten 2-0 by West Ham on Thursday night, which made it 11 defeats in their last 12 league games.
The Foxes weren’t even competitive at the London Stadium, recording an xG of just 0.37 while landing just two shots on target across 90 minutes.
Performances such as the one against the Hammers have become a common theme under Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Leicester fans want him sacked.
It’s been a disaster since Van Nistelrooy replaced Steve Cooper in November, with one alarming statistic explaining why City are doomed in the fight against survival.

Leicester have to create history to avoid Premier League relegation
Leicester are currently marooned in the bottom three with fellow promoted sides Ipswich Town and Southampton.

As it stands, they’ll have to claw back a five-point deficit to catch Wolves, who occupy 17th position in the table.
Following their defeat in London, Leicester have been handed a 97.6% chance of relegation by Opta, suggesting they see no way out for one of the division’s strugglers.
Remarkably, the Foxes would have to create history to retain their top-flight status. No side has ever survived in the Premier League after taking just 17 points from their opening 27 games.
It makes for grim reading for Van Nistelrooy, who arrived from Manchester United with high hopes of achieving success at the King Power Stadium and could now have a relegation on his CV.

In their next four fixtures, they play Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle United.
Currently, there is no chance of them even taking a point from those games, which will no doubt cement their place in the bottom three.
Van Nistelrooy is out of his depth tactically, and some players seem to have lost interest, creating the recipe for disaster.
It would take an unbelievable turnaround to change the tide in their favour, but there is perhaps more chance of Leicester being relegated in April, depending on whether Wolves can pull themselves away from danger.
