Sir Alex Ferguson is a man who knows a lot about what it takes to win a Premier League title.
Ferguson won 13 top flight titles during an incredible 26-year spell as Manchester United manager.
He’d retired by the time Leicester City would win their first Premier League crown in 2016 but Claudio Ranieri took plenty of inspiration from one of the greatest managers of all time.
Whilst Ferguson made some classy comments on Leicester’s title win in 2016, there was one thing he noticed in particular that was missing.

Leicester showed no fear in title win
Two of Leicester’s famous club mottos are: ‘Fearless’ and ‘Foxes never quit’. It’s a mantra that has stuck with the club throughout the good and bad, but 2016 was the true meaning of this all.
To even be challenging for the title was a miracle in itself, but to maintain their position at the top for as long as the Foxes did required them to hold their nerve.
As Leicester came into final metres of the marathon of a season, many wondered if Leicester would get over the finishing line first, but Ferguson noticed that their lack of fear would be enough to win them the league.
Speaking to Sky Sports in March 2016, he said: “You would think their inexperience would count, but Leicester have unbelievable energy and togetherness that suggests they’re going to see it through.
“They have a determination about them and they are not afraid of the situation they find themselves in, which is important.
“I don’t see any nerves and that’s down to the manager, he’s brought a calming influence. It’s fantastic, they are a breath of fresh air and it’s great for the game.”
Leicester must show no fear in these last 10 games
Almost 10 years on from that famous season, Leicester could be celebrating that anniversary in the second tier.
The Foxes are nine points adrift as it stands and a second relegation in three seasons is a very real possibility.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

Ruud van Nistelrooy has changed his tactics and is now deploying a 5-3-2, which saw them put in a much-improved performance against Chelsea.
Man United await Leicester next and is feels like last chance saloon with only 10 games of the season remaining.
