Jamie Vardy is set to go down as one of the greatest-ever players in the history of Leicester City.
After dominating the National League, Leicester City signed Jamie Vardy from Fleetwood Town in 2012 for £1m.
Given his lack of experience at a high level, it was a major risk for the Foxes at the time but one that has firmly paid off.
Vardy scored 16 and assisted 10 in 37 league outings during the 2013/14 season when Leicester won promotion from the Championship.
He played a crucial role in their survival battle in 2014/15 before making history during the club’s infamous Premier League title-winning campaign of 2015/16.
Vardy broke Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record for most consecutive top-flight games scored in that term, finding the back of the net 11 matches in a row.
As well as excelling on the pitch, the now 37-year-old has proven himself to be quite the character off it.

Despite his advanced age, Vardy remains at the top of his game in 2024/25, scoring six Premier League goals for a struggling Foxes team.
The centre-forward’s pretty bizarre pre-match routine of three Red Bulls with a cheese and ham omelette and a double espresso is well-documented at this point.
But the Telegraph have now shared a hilarious story about Vardy from something he did this season.
The Midlands outfit prepare for their matches at the LCFC Training Ground, and the veteran hitman was caught doing something very funny there recently.
It has been reported that earlier this campaign ahead of training, Vardy was amusing himself by booting balls at the windows of the clubs’ vast training headquarters.

As per the Telegraph, Netlifx will release a documentary covering the Leicester ace’s rise from non-league to the Premier League.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Wayne Rooney are all going to feature in the series.
Filling is underway and the show is expected to be ready to air come the Autumn of 2025.
