Leicester City fans are planning to protest outside and inside the ground when they face Arsenal on Saturday.

Fans have become disgruntled with the club’s ownership in recent times, with Jon Rudkin taking the blame from Leicester supporters.

As a result of the many issues, which have coincided with the Foxes going from being a side on the cusp of breaking into the self-proclaimed ‘big six’ to a team possibly heading for two relegations in three seasons, supporters are demanding change.

A group known as ‘Project Restart’ have confirmed that they will demonstrate outside the King Power Stadium before kick off and also have plans to do so inside the ground too.

In addition to the group’s plans outside the stadium, they have also called on those attending the game to make their feelings known in the 14th minute.

The reason the 14th minute has been picked is because it relates to the transfer saga involving Adrien Silva.

Leicester thought they had signed Silva on transfer deadline day in August 2017 only for the Foxes to miss the deadline to register him by 14 seconds.

Explaining the decision to protest, a representative from Project Restart told the Daily Mail: “At Leicester, trust between fans, players and those running the club has eroded with time.

“In a period of persistent instability and declining results, continued silence has become unforgivable as the club appears lacking in direction and vision. It fuels the perception that fans are, at best, expected to be devoted cheerleaders – regardless of what the grand plan might be.

“With a lack of clear guidance from the hierarchy, fans are left guessing. Decisions appear reactionary, inconsistent, and without reference to any clear guiding principles.”

Will the Leicester owners be at the Arsenal game?

It would come as a big surprise if Leicester’s owners weren’t at the game on Saturday.

Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha is often spotted at home games, sat next to Rudkin and unless other commitments take priority – is spotted at the games.

Most recently, ‘Khun Top’ was at Goodison Park to see Leicester hammered by Everton and with large swathes of the crowd expected to be voicing their disproval towards him on Saturday, time will tell with how he reacts.
