The only promising thing about Leicester City at the moment is the talent coming through the academy at Seagrave.
Jeremy Monga, 15, is inarguably the most exciting prospect to emerge in Leicester’s under-21s this term, and there’s been talk of Monga agreeing a transfer to Manchester City.
The electric winger is joined by striker Jake Evans, who could be Jamie Vardy’s replacement in the future, with the teenage striker currently joint-top of the Premier League 2 scoring charts.
While Evans and Monga are currently flourishing in Leicestershire, winger Will Alves is enjoying life away from the King Power Stadium.
Alves joined Cardiff City on loan in January, and the 19-year-old has since impressed the Welsh club with his performances, most recently against Blackburn Rovers.

Cardiff City fans react to Will Alves’ assist vs Blackburn
Alves has made three appearances from the off since joining Cardiff and he started on the bench against Blackburn on Saturday.
Some supporters felt that was the wrong decision, as the 2005-born star has looked a bright spark in a difficult period for the club.
Unsurprisingly, Alves showed why he deserved to be in the lineup by coming off the bench to assist Yakou Meite with a sumptuous cross for his 73rd-minute winner.
It clinched an all important three points for the Bluebirds, who remain a point outside the relegation places while Cardiff fans reacted to the youngsters display.
“Will Alves will play a big part in Leicester’s championship season next year. Top talent,” one fan wrote, predicting him to play a massive part for the Foxes in 2025/25.
“Ooh baby do you know what that’s worth, Will Alves is the best on Earth,” another supporter replied.
“He’s a great player,” a third replied.
“What a massive 3pts that is, credit where it’s due Yakou Meite was a game changer. Constantly pressuring the Blackburn defenders, got the winner, a great cross from Will Alves,” a fifth commented.

Alves will be huge for Leicester City in 2025/26
The writing is on the wall for Leicester City this season, especially after Wolves clinched a 2-1 win at Southampton to move nine points clear of the bottom three.

City need to start planning for life in the Championship, and Alves must be at the heart of their plans next season as he’s a quality player.
The teenager has already shown his class in the second tier with two assists while he could also save Leicester a lot of money in the summer.
With Bilal El Khannouss likely to depart, Alves could be his direct replacement, in a campaign that could see the youth truly shine.
