Leicester City fans have responded to the post-match comments made by Wilfred Ndidi after the 2-0 loss against Arsenal.

Ndidi was one of the stars for Leicester as they fell to a ninth defeat in 10 Premier League games for Ruud van Nistelrooy and co.

There was plenty of discontent at the King Power Stadium as Foxes fans made their feelings clear on Jon Rudkin.

A pre-match protest was held before banners were unveiled inside the stadium.

It was one of Leicester’s better performances in recent weeks but two lapses of concentration saw Mikel Merino punish them.

After the game, Ndidi said that were still positives to take from the game.

He told LCFC TV: “It’s quite a tough game, but we did well. I think it’s something we can take the positives to the next one.

“It was unlucky that we conceded that [first goal] one. We were still on it, still compact and we look forward to the next game.”

Leicester fans disagree with Wilfred Ndidi’s post-match comments

Whilst the Nigeria international tried to see through the negatives of another damning defeat, Leicester fans weren’t on the same wavelength.

“What are those then?” asked the first fan.

A second said: “You cannot take positives after each game, same responses as nothing changes, almost guaranteed to concede 2 goals per game, not score in last 5 PL games at home & not scored in 7 of those last 10 games. Little positives to take from each game anyway.”

Another wrote: “How can another defeat be positive?”

“We take the positives FC. Didn’t deserve to lose FC. First top flight team in over 100 years to lose five consecutive home games without scoring,” stated this supporter.

This fan commented: “Christ almighty.”

Leicester face win or bust scenario

Time is ticking and the relegation dogfight looks less likely to go to the wire.

A win against an out of sorts Tottenham Hotspur appears to have papered over the cracks and now, there really is no room for error.

Brentford awaits the Foxes next in the second of two consecutive home games. As it stands, they are two points adrift of safety but since they play at least a day before their relegation rivals, three points could turn it on it’s head and back into their hands.

But, another loss will only sour the mood further and all but confirm Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League.
