Leicester City couldn’t secure an all-important win against Arsenal on Saturday as the Foxes were beaten 2-0.
The Foxes achieved an unwanted record after becoming the second Premier League club in history to lose five games in a row without scoring.
A Mikel Merino brace means that Leicester are now down to 19th in the table but remain two points off safety for now.
Before the game, Leicester fans protested against Jon Rudkin and continued to do so by wearing yellow and holding up a banner that read: ‘Internal review, you don’t have a clue’.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has now lost nine of his last 10 games as manager and Leicester’s chances of avoiding relegation are now slim.
There were some positive signs though so with that, here are the winners and losers from Saturday’s defeat.

Three winners from Leicester City’s defeat against Arsenal
Woyo Coulibaly
After James Justin was forced off injured, Woyo Coulibaly was given his first big test in a Leicester shirt.
Coulibaly starred for Leicester and made three tackles, all of which were against Raheem Sterling.
Many Leicester fans wanted Coulibaly to start the game and despite only being given 47 minutes, gave a great account of himself and is certainly in contention to be in from the off against Brentford on Friday.
Wilfred Ndidi
Wilfred Ndidi was one of Leicester’s best players against Arsenal in just his second game back from a long-term injury.
Ndidi brings out the best of Boubakary Soumare and his three clearances at the back were instrumental in what was largely a solid defensive display.
The midfielder will be a huge part of Leicester’s survival hopes going forward. If he can stay fit, he will help the Foxes pick up points and bring some positivity back to the King Power Stadium.
Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy has an incredible goalscoring record against Arsenal and whilst he didn’t get on the scoresheet on Saturday, showed a different side to his game.
At 38, Vardy has lost a yard of pace but has never been known for his hold-up play, until Saturday.
The forward linked up well with Bilal El Khannouss, who would then lay the ball out wide to Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Jordan Ayew to put crosses in the box.
Jake Evans is touted to be the heir to Vardy’s throne and we could see him sooner rather than later, but judging by yesterday’s performance, there is another side of his game that the Leicester legend can offer.

Ruud van Nistelrooy
It goes without saying that nobody expected Leicester to beat Arsenal.
However, as time goes by and the defeats rack up, the Foxes’ survival hopes get slimmer.
Some Leicester fans have said they wanted David Moyes instead of Van Nistelrooy after his excellent start to life back at Everton and although there aren’t swathes of fans calling for the Dutchman’s head, results like this won’t help.
He has a massive game coming up against Brentford on Friday and it could well be the final straw.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha
Although it was his director of football that received the brunt of the blame, fans aren’t happy with the Leicester owner either.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha wasn’t in attendance at the King Power Stadium on Saturday but knows the pressure is on him to deliver and provide some transparency to the fans.
The Foxes’ owners are aware the tide is turning in the fanbase and another loss to deal with won’t make things any better.
