Leicester City made it three wins from three games as the revolution under Enzo Maresca continues. He has asked fans to be patient as his side strives to win games.

Maresca has instilled new tactics at the King Power but the steely grit and determination to win games is invaluable.

73rd, 87th and 92nd minute winners so far this season, great signs of a team destined for success.

The best teams always find a way to win and the Foxes are doing that.

Marseca just wants fans to be patient as his side search for the back of the net.

What has Enzo Maresca said?

It is clear that the Italian has a vision and a way of playing that he will stick with until it works.

He explained: “the idea is to keep the ball with purpose and a target.

“Every time we have the ball, there is a target in behind. Most of the time it’s to attack, find the space and find a solution.”

With the pace of Jamie Vardy, Stephy Mavididi and Wanya Marcal-Madivadua there is always an option in behind.

The Foxes boss understands that his side do have weaknesses at the moment especially playing against more defensive opposition.

Speaking on this point Maresca said: “Sometimes we struggle because the opponent press us very well, like in the first half against Huddersfield, they were man to man. It became difficult to find a solution.”

His side have a way of playing now which ebbs and flows into different formations throughout a game.

No matter what the formation there is one key philosophy: “The most important thing is they stay in position.

“We’ve found a balance. It’s giving us not only results, but in the way we want to play, it’s giving us balance. This is why we’re adopting this system.”

A scary thought for all Championship competitors, Maresca feels that his side are only “10% or 20%” of the way there tactically.

Maresca has also admitted there are “many, many, many things to do”

His message to the fans was to keep faith in their side: “My message for the fans is to be patient, and try to understand that in behind, the target is to win the game.

“Be patient, that is the most important thing.”

If Leicester are only at 10% or 20%, fans better be excited and opposition better be afraid.
