Leicester City will be plying their trade in the Championship next season.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side have the near-impossible task of overturning a 15-point gap on 17th-placed Wolves.
Leicester have suffered 14 defeats in their last 15 games, so it’d take a remarkable turnaround to retain their Premier League status.
Ahead of next season’s Championship campaign, there are expected to be wholesale changes both on and off the pitch.
Van Nistelrooy could be the first to leave Leicester, whilst supporters are urging Jon Rudkin to step down from his role as sporting director.
City will be moving on several first-teamers, so there’s a big rebuild on the horizon for the new manager, with Liam Rosenior linked with a move to the King Power Stadium.
With that said, here are three players Rosenior could sign if he’s installed as Leicester’s new manager.

Three players Liam Rosenior could sign for Leicester
Fabio Carvalho – Brentford
Rosenior managed to convince then Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho to join Hull City during the January transfer window last season.
Carvalho penned a six-month loan deal with the Humerside outfit and flourished under Rosenior, netting nine goals in 20 outings.
Now at Brentford, the £27m signing has found opportunities hard to come by and will likely become available on loan this summer.
With Billal El Khannouss almost certain to leave, Carvalho would be the ideal replacement.
Tyler Morton – Liverpool
Tyler Morton established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Championship under Rosenior’s stewardship last term.
In fact, Morton’s form alerted a number of top clubs in Germany, including Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
However, Liverpool decided to retain his signature, with his £20m valuation not met by any suitors.
Rosenior has always been a big fan of the loan market and could reunite with the Reds midfielder for a second time, perhaps with an obligation to buy based on promotion.
Callum Doyle – Manchester City (on loan at Norwich City)
Callum Doyle impressed during his season-long loan at Leicester and likely would’ve signed on a permanent deal had Enzo Maresca stayed.
Rosenior often utilised Jacob Greaves, a centre-back by trade, as a left-back, so he could do the same with Doyle.
The 21-year-old is enjoying a productive loan with Norwich City at the moment and has registered a commendable seven assists from defence.
City should try to land Doyle’s signature on a permanent deal, with Man City slapping a £15m price tag on him last summer.
