Leicester City are in desperate need of recruitments and Strahinja Pavlovic could be the missing piece the Foxes need to stay up.
Pavlovic was linked with the Foxes by Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday and would be a significant upgrade on any of the current options at the King Power Stadium.
Only Southampton and Wolves have conceded more goals than Leicester (48) this season, which explains why they are 19th in the table.

It’s unclear if Pavlovic would be a permanent move or a loan signing, but with the Foxes recently taking out a bank loan, it appears there would be money to do a deal.
Fenerbahce and Stuttgart are also reportedly interested but if Leicester were to complete a deal, their Premier League survival hopes could take a dramatic turn for the better.
With that, here’s everything you need to know about the latest Leicester transfer rumour.

Strahinja Pavlovic age/birthplace
Strahinja Pavlovic was born in Sabac, Serbia on 24 May 2001 and is of Serbian nationality.
This makes him 23-years-old at the time of writing and would be around a similar age to the likes of Victor Kristiansen and Caleb Okoli.
Strahinja Pavlovic height
Pavlovic stands at approximately six feet and four inches, or 1.94m tall. This would make him one of the taller players at the Leicester squad and a great asset to have from a defensive point of view, as well as attacking set pieces.
Strahinja Pavlovic position
The 24-year-old predominately plays as a left-footed centre-back and is capable of operating in either a back four or in a back three, which could suit manager Ruud van Nistelrooy when wanting to be flexible with his tactics.
Strahinja Pavlovic playing style
Pavlovic’s best attributes are his aggressive style of defending, as well as his burst of acceleration. The latter in particular is something the Foxes have really missed with the likes of Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes and Conor Coady playing.
He is also very strong in the air and has 17 career goals, proving that he is a valuable player to have in both boxes.
After making his professional debut aged 17, Pavlovic drew comparisons to Serbian and Premier League legend Nemanja Vidic and it is no surprise to hear that Vidic was his inspiration growing up.
His first name Strahinja is often associated with strength and courage in his native Serbia which will come in handy for the relegation dogfight.

Strahinja Pavlovic career
Pavlovic began his career at Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade and made his debut for the Grobari at just 17-years-old, coming on against Proleter Novi Sad on 23 February 2019 in a 3-0 win.
He even played in the Serbian Cup final that same season, winning the trophy against rivals Red Star Belgrade before earning a move to Monaco.
Loan spells at Cercle Brugge and Basel would follow after struggling to break into the Monaco side before he then joined Red Bull Salzburg, which is where he made his name.
Regular call-ups to Serbia’s national team began to happen as he established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting young defenders, as well as impressing at the 2022 World Cup and 2024 European Championships.
