Leicester City are looking to add to their squad in the 2025 winter transfer window.
The Foxes are back in Premier League action against Wolverhampton Wanderers this coming Sunday.
While still fairly early in the campaign, the tie is already looking like something of a six-pointer for Leicester City.
The Midlands outfit are in danger of slipping into the relegation zone this weekend and with January around the corner, it remains clear some new faces will need to be brought in.
A whole host of names have already been linked with a move to the King Power Stadium, one of which put Leicester in a transfer battle with Manchester City.
While the two Premier League sides are vying for the signature of a star, the Foxes also hold an interest in one of the Sky Blues’ current assets.

Leicester City chances of signing James McAtee in January
Leicester tried to sign James McAtee in 2023 and had him at their training ground shortly before the transfer window closed.
A deal did not come to pass, though, with the midfielder instead joining Sheffield United on loan.
However, Leicester have been linked with McAtee once more this year, with a report in late November claiming the Foxes were monitoring the England U21 international, whom the Manchester outfit were said to want £20m for.
Now, speaking ahead of the weekend’s action, City boss Pep Guardiola was asked about the future of the midfielder and made his stance clear.
McAtee will be going nowhere in the January transfer window but the Spaniard did leave the door open to a summer switch.
He said: “Leave? No I don’t think so… It [refreshing the squad] will be at the end of the season. It depends on how all of us perform. Now is not a reality, we will see the situation at the end of the season.
“What I want is my players back, I have the same feeling that the squad is really good. The problems we have is not about good or bad players. It’s because we lost two important figures for a while, it is what it is.
“Then after, what’s going to happen in winter or the end of the season, the club and myself are going to decide what’s best for the team.”

Which other players do Leicester City want to sign in January
While a move for McAtee is seemingly dead in the water, there are still plenty of other names who could link up with Van Nistelrooy and co.
Leicester have been linked with Juma Bah of Real Valladolid amid their search to sign some higher-quality defenders.
Bah is an inexperienced centre-back but the Foxes are also tracking another, Premier League-proven defender.
Atalanta BC are open to offers for Leicester target BenGodfrey, whom Foxes fans will know from his time at Everton.
It’s not just defenders the club are said to be eyeing this winter, however, with a potential replacement for Abdul Fatawu also linked.
Leicester want to sign Miguel Almiron on loan from Newcastle United for the remainder of 2024/25.
