Leicester City have been pretty bad at recruiting players for several years, so the latest news is unlikely to surprise fans.
Leicester City signed Steve Cooper to replace now-Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca over the summer.
Cooper was backed in the 2024 summer transfer window, though most of those additions have not worked out.
Oliver Skipp has flopped since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in a deal that could rise to £25m.
Facundo Buonnate has fallen out of favour under Ruud van Nistelrooy despite previously being a key player.
Michael Golding is yet to play a game for Leicester at senior level as well after his £4m move from Chelsea over the summer.
And now, it’s been revealed that the Foxes wanted to land another player from the West London outfit over the summer.

Leicester City wanted to sign Chelsea forward Armando Broja
A new striker was a target for the Midlands outfit prior to the 2024/25 season getting underway.
Leicester failed to sign Santiago Gimenez and he’s since continued his prolific form into the current campaign.
Meanwhile, a report from the Telegraph has now revealed that the Foxes were looking at a deal for Chelsea striker Armando Broja.
Broja had an asking price of £35m in the summer, according to football.london, but he did not move on a permanent basis.
Instead, he joined Everton on a season-long loan deal, for whom he had made six appearances before suffering a long-term injury.

Leicester City panic-bought Odsonne Edouard
With the deadline approaching and Broja moving to Everton, Leicester seemingly went into full panic mode.
The report linked above claims after the Chelsea ace’s move, Odsonne Edouard then emerged as the Foxes’ top target in the final 24 hours of the window.
They, of course, got that deal over the line but most fans and perhaps even some at the club may wish they didn’t.
Edouard has been a total disaster since joining from Crystal Palace, failing to score a single goal and largely being pushed out of the first-team picture under Van Nistelrooy.
