Leicester City may finally be closing in on a Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall replacement.
The Foxes have had a largely productive summer transfer window so far with six first-team additions made.
Ahead of pre-season, Issahaku Fatawu, Caleb Okoli, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, and Michael Golding all arrived at the King Power Stadium.
Facundo Buonanotte then arrived on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion while Oliver Skipp was signed ahead of Leicester drawing 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur.
More incomings are expected for Steve Cooper in the final week of the transfer window as well.
Leicester are ‘closing in’ on £6m deal for Jordan Ayew, bolstering the club’s striker ranks following an injury to Patson Daka.
However, while it has been a decent window so far, the Midlands outfit are yet to bring in a like-for-like replacement for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall following his transfer to Chelsea earlier this summer.

Leicester City to make offer for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall replacment
However, Leicester are now seemingly making a replacement for Dewsbury-Hall their main focus this week.
20-year-old KRC Genk star Bilal El Khannouss agreed a four-year deal with Leicester recently but a transfer has since stalled.
Now though, a fresh update on the situation has emerged on Monday, August 26th.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri has taken to X/Twitter to provide an update, confirming Leicester will make a new offer for the player, who is now refusing to train as he looks to force a move.
He wrote: “This morning, Bilal El Khannouss came to the club & tell his coach (out of respect for him and his team-mates) that he WOULDN’T TAKE PART IN TRAINING as long as Genk continues to disrespect him and his entourage.”
“Leicester City will not give up & expected to send a 3rd offer in the next hours.”

Who is Bilal El Khannouss
El Khannouss joined current club Genk at youth level from Anderlecht in July 2019.
The 20-year-old has quickly cemented himself as a regular feature in the Belgian outfit’s senior team.
Despite his tender years, he has already notched 94 senior appearances, in which he has scored four and provided 14 assists.
He is also already an experienced international, having played 14 times for Morocco since his debut in December 2022.
El Khannouss is a central midfielder but like Dewsbury-Hall, is most effective when carrying the ball into the attacking third of the pitch.
