It’s day two of the January transfer window and Leicester City are already looking like they will be in for a busy month.
Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hoping and praying he can add to his ranks as the Foxes look to get out of the bottom three and secure their long-term future in the Premier League.
With the window opening yesterday there were plenty of names linked to Leicester as the work begins now to get bodies through the door, as well as focus on shipping any bits of deadwood too.
So, with that, Leicester City News has got all of the latest transfer rumours as the King Power Stadium hopes to welcome new faces.
Marseille willing to sell Leicester target Lilian Brassier

It’s no secret that Leicester want to sign defenders this transfer window and they have been linked with plenty of names.
Lilian Brassier is admired by Leicester and the Marseille defender, on loan from Brest, could be heading to the East Midlanders.
Brassier is set to join Marseille permanently in the summer for a fee of £9m, but reports in France have claimed that they could move him on for a similar fee. Van Nistelrooy will face competition for his signature, with other clubs in Europe also interested.

Leicester to rival Everton for Sean Longstaff
Premier League experience is always something to consider when signing a player and Sean Longstaff has plenty of that in abundance.
Longstaff has 18 months left on his contract and Newcastle United have reportedly sounded out several clubs including Leicester about signing him.
The midfielder has played 16 times for the Magpies but only eight of them have been starts.
Midfield is a position the Foxes are well-stocked in but they may feel they can upgrade but will have to do battle with the likes of Everton and Wolves.

Shea Charles catches the eye of Leicester City
As previously mentioned, midfield is a position that Leicester have plenty of options available to them, but with Hamza Choudhury someone that could leave the Foxes, upgrades may come.
Shea Charles is currently on loan at Sheffield Wednesday from Premier League basement club Southampton and has impressed.
The Northern Ireland international has been a regular and even scored his first professional goal for the Owls.
They face competition from other top flight sides and may even have to wait until the end of the season to complete a deal.
Leicester monitoring Kyle Walker-Peters contract situation

Charles isn’t the only Southampton star being watched by Leicester.
Right-back Kyle Walker-Peters is out of contract in six months’ time and doesn’t look any closer to signing a new deal.
James Justin has struggled for form this season and with Ricardo Pereira out injured, there are a lack of full-back options outside of Victor Kristiansen and Luke Thomas.

Walker-Peters can play on the left or right side of a back four and can even operate as a wing-back/winger if necessary.
Poaching a rival club’s key player would also be a statement of intent from Van Nistelrooy in the quest for survival.
