Leicester City have made just one signing this month in the shape of Woyo Coulibaly, who completed a £3m switch from Serie A outfit Parma.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is desperate to add further reinforcements to his squad as he looks to guide Leicester away from danger.

The Foxes picked up a much-needed three points away at Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend, but there’s no room for complacency.
A striker to provide support to Jamie Vardy is thought to be on the agenda and it’s just emerged that Leicester are eyeing Ajax’s Chuba Akpom.
City fans have been reacting to the transfer link to the former Championship Golden Boot winner on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Leicester fans react to Chuba Akpom transfer rumour
It’s fair to say, Foxes fans have had it pretty tough this season, with a turbulent time both on and off the pitch.
But after Sunday’s shock win against Spurs, there’s a renewed sense of positivity and that’s only been amplified after the links to Akpom.
@gncolley said: “Very keen on this if true. Would surely choose us over Sunderland to get a guaranteed chance in the prem. Also would be a great signing for the championship if the worst is to happen!”
“This is the one I need to be true man,” @lcfcbuck added.
@DennisC77103264 commented: “He plays like a #10 instead of a #9. Goods skills, and wanted us to have picked him up last season. Has awareness, gets stuck in and not looking for protection from the ref.”
“Get it done,” @mayansilverfox added.
@Danny03033 simply said: “YESSSSSS.”
“Wouldn’t actually mind him tbf,” @kieronswain posted.
Akpom could form partnership with Jamie Vardy
Akpom, who’s netted eight goals this term, is really efficient operating just behind a traditional number nine.
The former Arsenal man is most effective playing as a second striker, almost in the number 10 role, so he could form a really good partnership with Vardy.
City haven’t really had the option of playing two up front, as Patson Daka and Odsonne Eduoard are both limited to playing as lone strikers.
So the potential addition of Akpom would give Van Nistelrooy a much-needed second option.
