A Leicester City player who has previously been compared to Paul Pogba is attracting interest from Marseille.
Leicester City are gearing up for their first campaign back in the Premier League, which kicks off for the Foxes on August 19th versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Enzo Maresca led the Midlands outfit back into the top flight but he has been replaced at the King Power by Steve Cooper.
Cooper is working hard with the backing of owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha to build a squad capable of avoiding relegation in 2024/25.
Four first-team players have signed already, while Leicester have also opened talks with Arsenal for Reiss Nelson and Atrhtur Melo has been linked with a move back to England.
In a bid to tidy up their squad, Leicester will allow Harry Souttar to go out on loan and have released several players.

Marseille want to sign Boubakary Soumare
Now, Leicester midfielder Boubakary Soumare is receiving transfer interest in the current window.
According to Marseille insider ‘La Minute OM’ on X/Twitter, the Ligue 1 outfit are interested in the profile of Soumare.
Soumare spent the 2023/24 season on loan in La Liga with Sevilla, who had a €15m option to purchase the player at the end of the campaign.
However, the Spanish side’s lack of European football meant a permanent transfer proved difficult and the player has now returned to Leicester.

Should Leicester City sell Boubakary Soumare
Soumare joined the Premier League side in June 2021 from LOSC Lille.
Shortly after his arrival in England, the 25-year-old was earning comparison to Paul Pogba, as per The Athletic.
Soumare has since notched 59 appearances for Leicester, including 29 in the campaign they were relegated to the Championship.
After his return to the club, the Frenchman is competing for a starting berth alongside Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi, Hamza Choudhury, and new signing Michael Golding.
Given Cooper is well-stocked in the midfield department despite the exit of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, he may decide to cash in on Soumare and strengthen another area of the pitch.
