Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has hinted at the possibility of a transfer deal happening in the coming week of the January transfer window.
The head coach is looking to give the Foxes their best chance of survival in the Premier League this season, having recently dropped into the bottom three.
Leicester have a big couple of games coming up this week, starting off with a clash against relegation rivals Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium.

The fans will play a big part once again as the Foxes are at home to Fulham shortly after, coming as a big chance in their bid to add more points to their tally.
The January transfer window offers another potential place to strengthen, with plenty of links over a move being discussed by Van Nistelrooy.

Ruud van Nistelrooy discusses Leicester City transfer latest
Heading into the midweek clash with Crystal Palace, Leicester City boss Van Nistelrooy was asked about the transfer window.
The Foxes are yet to confirm any deal into the club so far, with many hoping that there could be an incoming or two in the weeks ahead.
When asked about a move this week, the manager said: “It [a transfer this week] could happen but we have to wait and see how things are happening.
“It’s why the focus is on performing and winning. After that, it’s about signing players.”
Leicester would have to sign a player by mid-day on Tuesday for them to be eligible to face Crystal Palace, while anyone signed by mid-day on Friday would have them able to take on Fulham.
Amongst those linked is Woyo Coulibaly, the full-back from Parma who could make a switch to the Midlands.
When asked about him, Van Nistelrooy added: “We cannot confirm any news on any new player. Let’s see how things develop.”
It remains to be seen whether any other deal could be on the cards for Leicester ahead of another busy week.

January will be key month for Leicester’s future
The short-term future of Leicester could be dependent on January, for both actions on the field and off of it as well.
The Foxes will need to add another win or two under their belts to give them the best fighting chance possible in the league.
January will also be key for transfer moves, whether that is in or out of the club, in terms of forming the squad left at Van Nistelrooy’s disposal.
Full-backs are on the cards, with the leaky defence needing some shoring up, while anything added in the forward lines could be useful too.
