Leicester City have conceded the most goals in the top flight, including shipping 12 in their last four fixtures.

They are also winless since December 3rd when they beat West Ham United and face another tough test this weekend.

Aston Villa are once again vying for a European place and are sat ninth in the division going into the weekend’s action.

Unai Emery’s side have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five, which isn’t amazing but still a lot better than Leicester.

Ahead of the Villa clash, Ruud van Nistelrooy held his pre-match press conference on Thursday.

A number of topics were discussed in the presser, one of which was Leicester’s links to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

When asked about Dewsbury-Hall on Thursday, Van Nistelrooy mentioned that his side can’t currently sign anymore players on loan, as per Leicestershire Live.

He said: “You can’t have any more Premier League loans, so you have to deal with the current situation. But we will explore all possibilities. We are working with Jon, Martyn, the scouts and we’re looking everywhere.”

Ruud van Nistelrooy on Odsonne Edouard future

Leicester’s two loan slots from the Premier League are currently being taken up by Odsonne Edouard and Facundo Buonanotte.

There were reports recently that claimed Edouard will return to Crystal Palace in January, opening up a loan place.

But when speaking at his press conference ahead of Villa, Van Nistelrooy stated he expected the Eagles loanee to stay put.

He said: “Odsonne is part of our squad. He’s one of the two Premier League loans we have. We expect him and Facundo Buonanotte to be at the club.”

As a result, if Leicester want to sign Dewsbury-Hall in January, they will have to bring him in on a permanent transfer.
