Leicester City are looking to get one over on former manager Enzo Maresca when they host his Chelsea side this weekend.

Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off sees Leicester City take on Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes go into the weekend sat 15th in the league table, while Chelsea are up in third place and could make an outside push for the title on their current form.

Steve Cooper’s men have picked up just two Premier League wins so far this term and are expected to struggle against Enzo Maresca and co.

Chelsea already know how to exploit Leicester, with fans likely fearing their side will be on the receiving end of yet another hammering this weekend amid their dismal defensive record.

Jason Derulo predicts winner of Leicester City vs Chelsea

Leicester’s only wins this season have come against sides in the bottom half of the table – 12th-place Bournemouth and 20th-place Southampton.

To make matters worse, star winger Abdul Fatawu is now out for the season after undergoing surgery following an injury picked up on international duty recently.

Despite the odds being stacked against the Midlands outfit, however, American singer Jason Derulo has now predicted the outcome of the fixture and fans will be pleased.

Predicting the result of all 10 Premier League games this weekend, Derulo said: “Leicester’s my team, of course, I’m going with Leicester [to win].”

Does Jason Derulo support Leicester City

Derulo made his Premier League predictions in a Leicester shirt and claimed that the Foxes are ‘my team’.

Prior to the above video, though, the singer has not previously shared that he is a fan of Leicester anywhere online.

Deruolo has previously been involved in football in some capacity though, releasing a song for the World Cup back in 2018.

He also performed a post-match show for fans in August 2024 following an MLS clash between Chicago Fire FC and Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
