Cooper will also be absent from the touchline on Saturday after picking up his third yellow card of the season on Wednesday night.

The Foxes now face the side who were promoted alongside them but have failed to win any of their opening 10 games.

Leicester team news

The Foxes are only expected to have three players ruled out in the shape of Patson Daka, Hamza Choudhury, and Jakub Stolarczyk, who are still weeks away from returning, however, Daka is now back training with the squad.

Abdul Fatawu is the biggest doubt after it emerged that he had suffered a groin injury in the build-up to the United game.

Fatawu and the Foxes are waiting to hear back on the results of a midweek scan and there are hopes that it isn’t as serious as first feared.

Victor Kristiansen has missed the last two games through injury and is a doubt for the visit to Portman Road, despite returning to training.

Jannik Vestergaard made his return from injury against Man United, coming on as a substitute late in the second.

Cooper made nine changes for the game in midweek and the Leicester boss is expected to revert to his usual starting XI, meaning the likes of Facundo Buonanotte and Jamie Vardy will all start.
