Leicester City recorded their most important win of the season so far after coming from a goal down to beat Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs were out for revenge after Leicester fans created a banner in reference to the Premier League title win in 2015/16 – where the Foxes beat the North London club to the trophy.
It was Tottenham who drew first blood however as Richarlison opened the scoring before Jamie Vardy, who infuriated the home fans all game, equalised.
Bilal El Khannouss completed the turnaround five minutes later after his beautiful effort from distance following unlikely hero, Bobby De-Cordova Reid’s neat ball.
It lifted a huge weight off Ruud van Nistelrooy’s shoulders, with some reports claiming that the Leicester boss could quit, as the Foxes climbed out of the bottom three.
By doing so, they also managed to inflict a damning stat on Spurs for the first time in over 100 years.

Leicester City’s win against Tottenham breaks 113-year record
A lot was made about both teams’ awful records heading into the game and the Foxes wanted to do everything they could to avoid being on the losing end again.
Defeat would’ve matched an unwanted record for the first time in 24 years for the East Midlands club as they arrived into the fixture with seven successive league defeats.
By holding on for the three points, as revealed by OptaJoe, Leicester’s win was the first time since 1912 that Spurs had lost against a team on a seven-game losing streak in the league.
Leicester pile the misery on Tottenham
Three points have been hard to come by for Leicester this season so whenever they do come around, it’s time to celebrate.
Leicester added further salt to the wounds by handing Spurs a series of forgettable stats after the game.

The loss means that Spurs have now lost six of their last seven Premier League games, and are on their longest winless run since May 2008.
Out of all the stats, the most damaging is that Spurs have lost 18 of their last 30 games. Wolves are the only side with a worse record out of all the top flight teams that have been in the league during that period with 20.
