Leicester City were looking to build on their win over Tottenham Hotspur when they took on Everton.
The Foxes finally ended their losing streak last week, securing a much-needed 2-1 win over Ange Postecoglou’s side.
However, Tottenham have been in dire form and hampered by injury issues this season while Everton have been transformed since David Moyes arrived.
And things got off to a nightmare start for Leicester City when Everton scored the fastest Premier League goal ever after just 10 seconds.
Beto then made it 2-0 in the sixth minute, all but killing off any chance Ruud van Nistelrooy and co. had of making it two wins on the spin.
A third goal was added right before the break and, as was to be expected, Leicester went on to lose.

Leicester City fans think Ruud van Nistelrooy will walk after Everton
While a manager generally gets a lot of criticism when results aren’t going their way, it appears the Leicester faithful aren’t all blaming Van Nistelrooy.
Instead, Foxes fans have taken to X/Twitter to hit out at the club’s hierarchy and predict that Ruud will walk out of their club, potentially as early as Saturday night.
One fan wrote: “Wouldn’t surprise me if he walked at full time Bought in and was promised funds and new signings. One signing in and we aren’t looking like signing anyone else Can see him going, a shame Jon Rudkin won’t follow him.”
A second added: “Ruud is definitely going tonight and that team is peak levels of banter.”
“If Ruud walks after this (who could blame him) then we have to go for Sean Dyche (seriously),” a third stated.
A fourth Leicester fan added: “£10m for Cannon over a week ago. So where are the new players? Club clearly knows it’s going down and won’t spend. Don’t be surprised Ruud doesn’t walk tonight.”
“Ruud should walk as this management are terrible,” another simply stated.
While a sixth questioned: “We’re an embarrassing club. Ruud will walk away after today you watch. What player will come here now?”

Leicester City must back Ruud van Nistelrooy now
Predictions that the Dutchman could walk away from the King Power are pretty justified.
Van Nistelrooy wanted four players signed this window but with two days to go, only one has arrived.
Ruud has a history of walking out of clubs, leaving PSV Eindhoven amid a lack of support from management.
So, if Leicester want him to stay, it’s clear players will have to be signed before the February 3rd deadline but at present, that’s looking unlikely.
