Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hoping for a happy reunion against Manchester United with Leicester City second time around.
Leicester City face Man United knowing that if they lose, then that’s their Premier League fate all-but-sealed.
The last time Leicester faced United saw Van Nistelrooy slam Harry Maguire’s stoppage time winner after replays showed it was clearly offside.
This meeting between the two teams will be the fourth time they faced each other in all competitions, with Man United winning all three of those.
However, for Van Nistelrooy, he will become part of a select few to complete a special fate.

Ruud van Nistelrooy joins select few in Premier League stat
As everyone knows, Van Nistelrooy is a Man United legend having scored 150 goals in 219 games.
Although Van Nistelrooy upset some players at Old Trafford, leaving as a player on a sour note, he returned in a coaching capacity at the start of the 24/25 season.
But, after Erik ten Hag was sacked, Van Nistelrooy became the interim manager and oversaw four games, two of them being wins against the Foxes.
He left after Ruben Amorim’s appointment and was appointed as Leicester manager.
Now that he is facing his former employers as Foxes boss, the BBC have revealed that the Dutchman will set a unique feat of becoming the first manager since Alan Pardew in the 14/15 season to take charge of both clubs in a specific Premier League fixture in a single season since he did with Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

Ruud van Nistelrooy maintains stance on Leicester staying up
For everyone affiliated to Leicester, this game against Man United is very much last chance saloon.
Lose against United and there is a very real chance that Leicester could be relegated by rivals Nottingham Forest.
When Van Nistelrooy joined, the Foxes were 16th but have slid down the table. For those outside of the club, relegation is inevitable but the 48-year-old refuses to give up.
He told Sky Sports: “The one goal was to stay in this league. It was clear. It was the only thing. As a promoted team, the realism is there. Everyone knows that there are 17 teams above us and we need to beat one, as well as the other two [promoted teams], to stay up.”
