Leicester City continue to flounder in the Premier League but Will Alves is excelling after going out on loan.
Leicester City were beaten 3-0 by Brentford on Friday night, now sitting 19th with just one win from their last 11 Premier League fixtures.
Pressure is mounting on Ruud van Nistelrooy and relegation now looks to be nailed on for the Foxes in 2024/25.
On the bright side, when they do inevitably go down, they already know one of their players is excellent at Championship level.
Cardiff City signed Will Alves on loan from the Midlands outfit shortly before the close of the winter transfer window.
The teenager was in need of regualr senior football and now he’s finally getting it, the midfielder has grasped the opportunity with both hands.

Cardiff City fans praise Leicester City loanee Will Alves
Cardiff fans have praised Alves on numerous occasions since his move and he once again earned rave reviews over the weekend.
The 19-year-old notched an assist for the Welsh outfit against Plymouth Argyle on February 22nd – his first goal contributin since joining.
And Cardiff fans have now taken to social media to praise the Leicester man.

Leicester City must give Will Alves a chance
Alves has made just five senior appearances for Leicester but should now be given a run in the side come 2025/26.
It’s only early days in his Cardiff loan spell but he’s taken to the Championship like a duck to water.
And as it seems likley that Leicester will be back in that divison next term, whoever is managing the team needs to ensure Alves is given a chance to prove himself.
Still only 19 and under contract until 2028, the Englishman looks to have a very bright future at Leicester.
