Several Leicester City stars have been called up by their national teams for the third international break of the season.

The Foxes were beaten in their final fixture before the week off, losing 3-0 to Manchester United in a game that saw some supporters call for Steve Cooper to be sacked.

Next is a tricky home game against Chelsea, managed by former Leicester boss Enzo Maresca, who also has Ben Chilwell and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall among his options.

Before they can focus on picking up points in the Premier League, a number of players will be in action for their countries around the world.

Here is who has been called up and when you can watch them play.

Facundo Buonanotte has been one of the Foxes’ best players this season and has deservedly been recalled to the Argentine senior squad after earning a maiden call-up in the October break.

The 19-year-old will be hoping to earn his third cap over their two World Cup qualifiers.

Mads Hermansen, Jannik Vestergaard & Victor Kristiansen (Denmark)

The trio of Dane’s have been called up once again, as is customary.

Mads Hermansen is still waiting to make his debut for the senior squad whilst former Leicester ‘keeper Kasper Schmeichel remains in between the sticks.

Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen are more likely to feature and could use the game time to build back some confidence after a difficult defensive display.

Wout Faes (Belgium)

Wout Faes has struggled on occasions this season but has still done enough to be picked by Belgium.

During the October internationals, Faes was slammed by Belgian media for giving away a penalty against Italy. He will hope for a much better outing this time.

Caleb Okoli (Italy)

Caleb Okoli has fallen out of favour in the past couple of games for the Foxes but has still been called up by Italy’s senior squad once again.

Kasey McAteer (Republic of Ireland)

Kasey McAteer has been a regular in the Republic of Ireland national team since after declaring for them ahead of England.

Although McAteer’s gametime at Leicester has decreased this season, he still plays an important role for Ireland and could even line up against England at Wembley Stadium.

Danny Ward (Wales)

Despite losing his place in the starting XI, Danny Ward is still one of the first names in the squad for Wales and will likely feature in goal for their Nations League fixtures.

Jordan Ayew & Abdul Fatawu (Ghana)

The Ghanaian duo have been some of the better performers amongst the Foxes first-team in recent weeks.

Jordan Ayew will be hoping his new-found role of ‘super sub’ isn’t one that will continue on the international stage while Abdul Fatawu will aim to impress once again.

Wilfred Ndidi (Nigeria)

Wilfred Ndidi has once again been called up by Nigeria and is one of their most experienced faces in the squad.

Ndidi has been one of Cooper’s go-to stars this season and is also the club’s leading provider, with four assists this term.

Bilal El Khannouss (Morocco)

Young star Bilal El Khannouss is back in action for Morocco this break.

The midfielder has been in and out of the side but scored his first goal in the Carabao Cup against Man United and will look to build on that and break into the starting XI.
