A number of Leicester City stars know it could be make or break for them next season.

Several Leicester stars will leave in the summer whilst a number of the Foxes need to step it up if they want to secure Premier League survival.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will be keeping a close eye on everyone with a squad overhaul almost certain, whatever league they find themselves in.

For one forgotten youngster, it could be last chance saloon with a hectic of end season run-in to come.

Wanya Marcal returns to De Graafschap after injury nightmare

Youngster Wanya-Marcal has had limited opportunities at the King Power Stadium and was given the chance to join De Graafschap in the Dutch second tier to get regular minutes.

Marcal played eight times for the Foxes last season and would’ve been a starter for De Graafschap, however, he got injured straightaway.

He returned to Leicester as part of the recovery process before playing five times, only to get injured again in December.

The winger got fit once again and is now back in the Netherlands and has featured in De Graafschap’s last two games ahead of their promotion play-off charge.

Wanya-Marcal must prove himself in the Netherlands

Although the loan spell hasn’t gone as planned, the 22-year-old will know that a strong end to the campaign could give him the chance to play regularly for the Foxes next season.

The wide positions are well occupied, with Stephy Mavididi, Abdul Fatawu, Jordan Ayew and Bobby De Cordova-Reid all viable options.

Youngster Jeremy Monga is also waiting in the wings and seems more than capable of playing for the first team, providing extra competition.

It will be a tough ask to dislodge any of those, but if he performs well, who knows what awaits him?
