Leicester City have endured a season to forget, with relegation to the Championship looking like a certainty for the Foxes.
One win in the last 13 Premier League games has left the Foxes nine points off Wolves in 17th place, with Leicester having just nine games to save their season from another drop down to the English second-tier.

With Troy Deeney criticising Leicester’s recruitment policy, a lot has been made about how poor the additions the King Power Stadium side have made since winning promotion to the Premier League, a big problem that has to change this summer.
As well as poor signings, there has been little improvement from many Leicester players despite playing against some of the best in the world, and here are three figured who need to step up between now and the end of the season.

Jamie Vardy
It might seem crazy to include Jamie Vardy after Clinton Morrison noted that the 38-year-old attacker looked like the only Leicester player who looked up for the occasion this weekend against Manchester United, but the striker himself would be the first to admit that his form hasn’t been the best this season.
And with Vardy’s contract up this summer at Leicester, the forward is well and truly playing for his future at the King Power Stadium, with a big decision in the works over whether or not retaining the veteran Foxes legend is worth it going into the new campaign.
Indeed, one more year of Vardy to end his career at Leicester in football would be the ideal outcome for many supporters, but between now and the end of the season, the striker needs to prove he has the quality to still deliver the goods in front of goal.
James Justin
It feels like a lifetime again when James Justin was considered one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League, with the former Luton Town blessed with the rare ability to play on both defensive flanks.
Yet in the year 2025, Justin is now a shadow of his former self, with the defender struggling for form this season with Leicester and looking unlikely to reach the former heights that made the former England international such a special talent.
Indeed, Justin has shown in rare patches this season that he still has the quality to be a real asset for Leicester, and the Foxes will need to see that if they’re to stand with any hope of surviving in the Premier League.

Harry Winks
When Harry Winks signed for Leicester in 2023, it felt like a smart signing from the Foxes with the deal exuding confidence from the East Midlands side that they will be out of the Championship in one season and back competing in the Premier League.
And whilst the former Tottenham man impressed in the English second-tier last year, Winks has struggled massively to replicate his form in the Championship in the Premier League, with the 29-year-old dropped from Leicester’s starting XI in recent weeks.
The England international clearly has the talent to impress, with Winks revealing that Pep Guardiola lauded the Leicester man earlier in the season, and the midfielder needs to start showing he is still a Premier League calibre player in the final games of the campaign.
