Ruud van Nistelrooy yet to accept Leicester job offer

On Sunday night Italian journalist Rudy Galetti revealed that the Foxes had approached Van Nistelrooy about the manager’s job.

Now, in his latest update on Monday, Galetti confirmed that the East Midlanders were still waiting to hear back from the Dutchman.

Ruud van Nistelrooy wanted by struggling German giants

It isn’t just Leicester that are interested in Van Nistelrooy, with reports in Germany claiming that Hamburg also want to appoint the former striker.

Van Nistelrooy hasn’t been the permanent manager of a club since PSV in 2022/23 season where he won a domestic double before leaving with one game of the campaign after citing a lack of support from owners.

In his four games in charge as interim manager of Manchester United, Van Nistelrooy won three and drew one.
