The search to replace Steve Cooper at Leicester City has already begun just hours after his sacking.
The 46-year-old had a nightmare stint at the King Power Stadium, winning just two of his 12 Premier League games in charge.
Leicester City’s latest outing saw them bested by ex-manager Enzo Maresca and his new Chelsea team on Saturday.
That defeat moved the Midlands outfit down to 16th in the Premier League table and to within two points of the bottom three.
This forced the Leicester owners to change their stance on the manager, with the Foxes confirming the sacking of Cooper in a statement on Sunday.

Leicester City approach Ruud van Nistelrooy to replace Steve Cooper
After news of the former Nottingham Forest man’s exit broke, Leicester fans made their feelings on their next manager clear.
The Foxes faithful picked out Ruud van Nistelrooy or Graham Potter as the best options to get the club’s 2024/25 campaign back on track.
Potter has been out of work for over a year now following his Chelsea sacking while Van Nistelrooy recently left Manchester United.
Now, journalist Rudy Galetti has taken to X/Twitter to provide an update on Leicester’s search for a Cooper replacement and it looks as though fans may get their wish.
He wrote: “Leicester have approached Ruud van Nistelrooy to explore the negotiation margins to replace Steve Cooper on their bench. David Moyes and other names are under evaluation, but LCFC would like to convince the Dutch manager as a priority.”
