Leicester City fans made their opinions on Mads Hermansen very clear during the Foxes’ meeting with West Ham United on Thursday.
The Foxes went into the game aiming to avoid suffering an 11th defeat in their last 12 Premier League matches.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record as Leicester City manager was worse than Steve Cooper’s prior to kick-off, and another defeat was sure to all but confirm relegation.
Leicester headed into the clash with a five-point gap to close on Wolverhampton Wanderers, who had already lost to Fulham this week.
Lose, and they would be left facing a nightmare run of games with an impossible mountain to climb.
Van Nistelrooy made a number of changes to his Leicester side for the midweek meeting in a bid to try and turn his team’s fortunes around.
Facundo Buonanotte, James Justin and Jannik Vestergaard all came into the eleven in place of Jordan Ayew, Woyo Coulibably and Caleb Okoli.
But in the end, Leicester lost to West Ham in harrowing fashion, and fans, as expected, are not happy.

Leicester City fans feel sorry for Mads Hermansen after West Ham
The entire Leicester team was woeful on Thursday evening, creating nothing going forward, and as always, were woeful at the back.
Vestergaard was at fault for both of West Ham’s goals of the night, yet despite another dire display, Leicester fans did show support for one of their players.
The man in question is Mads Hermansen, whom supporters think deserves better than being part of this squad.
One fan wrote: “Mads Hermansen deserves better than this.”
A second added: “The only ones who deserve any sort of praise from that first half is Hermansen, and possibly Vardy. This second half will say a lot about them.
“Hermansen deserves to be at a better club,” a third Leicester fan wrote.
A fourth stated: “What is Hermansen supposed to ——- do with these idiots in front of him conceding the first goal is an instant loss,” while a fifth simply replied: “Feel so bad for him.”
A sixth Foxes fan claimed: “Exactly none of our players even care except El Khannouss, Vardy, and Hermansen.”
While another echoed: “Get Mads Hermansen out of this pathetic football club already.”
Manchester United interested in Leicester City’s Mads Hermansen
When Leicester do go down this season, Hermansen is one of the few players who could be poached by a Premier League club.
His stats don’t make for great reading given the backline he is playing in front of, but anyone who has watched the Foxes closely this season will know he is a solid goalkeeper.
Manchester United have been linked with Hermansen already this season, and there was talk in the summer Enzo Maresca could reunite with the Leicester keeper at Stamford Bridge as well.
It’s clear he will almost certainly leave when the inevitable relegation happens, but at least the 24-year-old is under contract until 2028, so the Foxes should be able to hold out for a decent transfer fee.
