It’s a new dawn and a new week but life at Leicester City isn’t feeling good.

Friday night’s loss against Brentford was a 10th in 11 Premier League games as the Foxes made unwanted history by becoming the first Premier League team in history to lose six home games in a row without scoring.

The defeat has led to some fans calling for Ruud van Nistelrooy to be sacked as the possibility of relegation becomes clearer.

Although Leicester are unlikely to sack Van Nistelrooy due to the finances required, there have even been shouts of Martin O’Neill returning to the East Midlands.

Gary Lineker has always tried to remain as positive as he can, but even he is struggling to see a way out for the Foxes.

By the time they play West Ham United on Thursday, there is every chance that Leicester could eight points off safety if Wolverhampton Wanderers win.

Chelsea could go back in for Mads Hermansen

Mads Hermansen has struggled since returning to the team but is still a top goalkeeper on his day.

Hermansen was wanted by Chelsea in the summer and given their ongoing struggles, could be of interest to them again.

Enzo Maresca hinted in his post-match interview after Chelsea’s loss against Aston Villa that he could look for a new goalkeeper and the Danish star could be the perfect option for the Blues.

It’s hard to know what market Leicester will be shopping in until they know for sure if they will be in the Premier League or not.

A summer rebuild is in desperate need and many Leicester players are likely to leave in the summer.

Reinforcements will be needed and according to reports, Chemsdine Talbi could be an option for Van Nistelrooy.
