Leicester City round off 2024 with a tough test against Manchester City.
It’s been an eventful calendar year for the Foxes which has included three permanent managers, a title win and a relegation battle but to end it all, Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hoping for a win.
Man City have just one win in their last 13 games whereas defeat for Van Nistelrooy will match an unwanted 21-year record at Leicester.
The Foxes sit in the bottom three ahead of the game, one point adrift of safety, but they won’t be feeling any more confident after seeing their recent record against the current Premier League champions.

Leicester City will have to overcome terrible Man City record
Pep Guardiola’s side may be struggling and facing an uphill battle to finish in the top four, never mind win the league, but they will be boosted by their recent record against the Foxes.
In their last 13 meetings, Man City have won 11 of those whilst Leicester have also failed to keep a clean sheet in any of the last 15 fixtures between the two.
To make matters worse, City have won their last four Premier League away games against Leicester without conceding a single goal. Should they repeat that, it will be the first time they’ve gone five games without conceding to the same side away from home.
It won’t be easy however, with Man City facing an injury crisis ahead of the trip to Leicester, which could be a small boost for the Foxes.

What time does Leicester vs Man City kick off?
Normally on a Sunday, the early kick-off would be at 2:30 PM GMT but, due to the way the recent Boxing Day fixtures fell, there has been a slight alteration.
Many of the games will still kick off at 3:00 PM, as if they were playing on a Saturday, but Leicester’s game at the King Power Stadium gets underway half an hour earlier.

No official reason has been given for this but it is likely it is so Sky Sports can then broadcast Liverpool’s game against West Ham United at 5:15 PM GMT.
