Leicester City’s Premier League status hangs in the balance but one of their rivals has just suffered a major injury blow.
It’s been a torrid run of form since Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge at the King Power Stadium, returning just seven points from a possible 33 in the league and losing 10 matches.
According to Opta, Leicester will be relegated from the Premier League alongside Ipswich Town and Southampton, but that is only a prediction.

With 15 games left in the season, the Foxes can quickly turn their form around and climb out of the bottom three, starting with Leicester’s clash against Brentford on Friday night.
Van Nistelrooy will also be keeping a close eye on his rivals, with one suffering a major injury blow that could impact the race for survival.
Wolves star Emmanuel Agbadou sidelined for three to four weeks
While Leicester only signed Woyo Coulibaly in the winter window, Wolves were extremely busy, confirming three new signings.
Vitor Pereira captured centre-back Emmanuel Agbadou earlier in January, while Nasser Djiga and Marshall Munetsi arrived on transfer deadline day.
The Old Gold spent the second most money of any Premier League side, behind only Manchester City, outlining their ambitions to pull away from danger.
However, while Agbadou has been ‘unbelievable’ since joining Wolves, earning the club’s Player of the Month Award for January, the Ivorian has just suffered an injury setback.
The 27-year-old suffered a muscular injury in the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, and according to journalist Nathan Judah, he’s now expecting to face three to four weeks on the sidelines.
“So we’re looking at three to four weeks minimum,” Judah said on the Express & Star podcast, dealing everyone associated with the club a massive blow.
Ricardo Pereira and James Justin injury update
While Wolves were dealt bad news on Wednesday, Ruud van Nistelrooy was able to supply a positive injury update on right-back Ricardo Pereira.
The Portuguese defender has been sidelined with injury since November but Pereira has since returned to training and will be back in the squad very soon.
Leicester fans were buzzing when they heard the news, as the 31-year-old is a fan favourite at the King Power Stadium, quite the opposite of James Justin.
Van Nistelrooy revealed the right-back would be out of action for the next few weeks after suffering an injury against Arsenal.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Pereira gets integrated back into the squad, and how Wolves will cope without Agbadou.
