The Foxes haven’t had much to shout about in recent times, in what has been a pretty dismal campaign for the club.
Having managed just two wins in their last 15 fixtures, Leicester have failed to provide their fans with any sort of optimism this season.
One positive for supporters, however, has been the recent success of the Foxes academy, with the likes of Jeremy Monga impressing at Leicester.
Despite still just being 16-years-old, Monga was part of the Leicester squad who faced Manchester United in February, after impressing Ruud van Nistelrooy in training.
Van Niselrooy wants to keep Monga at Leicester next season – whether the Foxes can persuade the youngster to stay though is another question entirely.

Analyst claims Jeremy Monga will attract interest from top English clubs
The 16-year-old hasn’t only been impressing for Leicester this season, Monga has also caught the headlines for England – with his recent free-kick goal against Colombia going viral on social media.
The youngster’s international exploits have unsurprisingly earned him some high-profile suitors, with the likes of Chelsea reportedly interested in Monga.
With that being said, football analyst Ben Mattinson claims the Blues won’t be the only top English club in for the Leicester youngster this summer.
“Jeremy Monga is the winger talent I like most coming through. It’s inevitable every top English club will be in for him and offering big money too. Interested to see where he goes, IF he goes. But if he stays at Leicester, he could break into the first team in the championship.”
Monga could make impact for Leicester first-team next season
With the stats suggesting Leicester will be relegated come May, the Foxes will no doubt already be putting plans in place for EFL life next season.
The Championship will be another step backwards for the Foxes but he could have a positive impact on a number of Leicester players, particularly Monga.
EFL football could provide Monga with the perfect learning curve and the stats suggest he could have an impact at the King Power as well.
| Jeremy Monga 24/25 stats | Apps | Goals | Assists | Minutes played |
| Premier League 2 | 7 | 1 | 1 | 477′ |
| U18 Premier League | 5 | 1 | 4 | 331′ |
| EFL Trophy | 3 | – | – | 140′ |
| FA Youth Cup | 1 | – | – | 90′ |
With the likes of Bilal El Khannouss likely to leave Leicester this season, there may be a spot for Monga on the wing next campaign and the Foxes may be forced to hand him minutes with top clubs circling.
