Leicester City have allowed a number of players to leave the club in the last 12 months, and one manager is seemingly open to signing one of their current stars.
Much to the fury of fans, Tom Cannon joined Sheffield United in January for £10m after Leicester City recalled him from his loan spell at Stoke City.
However, while it seemed like a poor decision at the time, Cannon has been slammed by Sheffield United fans on several occasions for his questionable displays.
The striker is not the only player who has swapped the King Power Stadium for Bramall Lane in 2024/25, however.
Hamza Choudhury joined Sheffield United on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season at the back end of the winter transfer window.
Meanwhile, Harry Souttar left Leicester for the Blades back in the summer of 2024 on a season-long loan.

Chris Wilder on signing Harry Souttar from Sheffield United
The defender started the campaign in great form, playing 21 Championship matches for a side battling at the top end of the division.
However, Souttar suffered an injury in late December – an Achilles tendon rupture – that required surgery and saw his loan spell in Yorkshire cut short.
Speaking this week, however, as per The Star, Chris Wilder was asked if he would be open to working with Souttar again and did not rule it out.
He said: “Who knows? All you can do when you come in on loan is impress everybody, and he certainly impressed the supporters, he certainly impressed me and the coaching staff and his fellow players.
“The first obstacle and hurdle he has to overcome is getting himself back onto the football pitch, because Achilles injuries are not the most easy ones to deal with.
“Especially when you are six foot seven. He has got to manage that injury really well and I wish him all the best in his recovery.”

How much did Leicester City pay for Harry Souttar
The defender made the move to the Midlands during the 2023 January transfer window.
Leicester paid £15m for Souttar, making him their second-most expensive player signed in a winter window.
He’s only played 16 matches for the Foxes, but now they are likely to be relegated down to the Championship for 2025/26, it could be a good time – when he’s back from injury, of course – to reintegrate the stopper back into the team.
Souttar proved with Sheffield United that he can compete at the top end of the Championship, and given Leicester’s defensive woes this term, it may be worth handing him another chance before making any decisions on his future.
