Leicester City travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and Paul Merson has now made his prediction for the clash.
Leicester City are languishing in 19th place in the Premier League table going into their latest fixture.
The Foxes are just two points from safety but their recent form suggests they are unlikely to win the battle for survival this season.
Leicester lost to Fulham by two goals to nil last week, meaning they are now on a seven-game losing streak.
This has seen Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future at the King Power Stadium called into question, though any decisions are unlikely to be made even if they once again lose on Sunday.
As for Tottenham, they began the weekend 15th in the English top flight with just 10 more points than the Foxes.
Now, Paul Merson has shared his score prediction for the game and highlighted one major Leicester threat.

Paul Merson makes Tottenham vs Leicester City score prediciton
Tottenham are on a horrific run of form right now, losing four and drawing one of their last five – only Leicester and Southampton have worse recent records.
The two sides clashed on the opening weekend of the season, playing out a 1-1 draw.
Now though, when making his prediction for Sportskeeda, Merson has backed Leicester to come away with a 2-1 win.
He said: “I often watch Leicester play and they are now seven games without a win. They start well at times but just can’t find the first goal.
“Then half-time comes and they get disheartened before losing it all in the second half. Leicester are not getting battered like Southampton, they are a decent team. If they can find that opening goal in games, they will start getting better results.
“I don’t know if it’s a confidence or a concentration issue, but that is holding them back now. Leicester still have a chance in the relegation battle in my opinion and this is the perfect game because they’re playing Tottenham!”
Paul Merson thinks Jamie Vardy can cause Tottenham problems
Merson’s prediction is very bold when you consider that in their last seven league games, Van Nistelrooy’s men have scored just two goals.
Their drop-off in form has coincided with Jamie Vardy struggling for Leicester after starting 2024/25 in top form with six league goals.
However, when making his prediction, the Sky Sports pundit backed Vardy to cause Spurs ‘a lot of problems’.
He said: “Considering how Spurs play, Jamie Vardy can cause them a lot of problems in this game. If Leicester can ride their luck and Tottenham have an off day, even if it’s just in front of goal like against Ipswich earlier this season, they have a chance.
“If Leicester and Vardy can trouble Tottenham with their counter-attack, we might witness a result that will set the cat among the pigeons!”
