Leicester City were humiliated by Brentford on Friday night as Ruud van Nistelrooy reached a whole new low during his tenure in charge.
In what started as an opportunity to climb out of the relegation zone with victory, Leicester City crumbled in the first half an hour as some terrible defending saw Brentford cash in with three goals.
Fabio Carvalho then added a fourth deep into the second half to hand Brentford a 4-0 victory over Leicester, which prompted some ugly scenes at full-time.
Leicester fans called for Ruud van Nistelrooy to be sacked after he set an unwanted Premier League record of going six straight home games without scoring and conceding at least twice in each.
Funnily enough, some fans want Sean Dyche to replace Van Nistelrooy immediately but whilst the Dutchman is a huge reason for their downfall, Jon Rudkin can take some of the blame.

Richard Keys calls out Jon Rudkin after Leicester’s defeat vs Brentford
Director of Football Rudkin is responsible for a terrible recruitment policy and their two latest managerial casualties, first Steve Cooper and now Van Nistelrooy.
Leicester fans have called for Rudkin to be sacked on numerous occasions this term, feeling frustrated with the decision-making at the top and the lack of players brought in during January.
Supporters often feel like they’re on their own with their criticism towards the hierarchy but even some well-known figures in the sport are now voicing their opinion, including former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, after their loss at the King Power Stadium, Keys labelled their performance as ‘pathetic’ and also called out Rudkin, suggesting he should leave the club as well as Van Nistelrooy.
It’s been a turbulent few years with Rudkin at the helm and surely the 57-year-old is on borrowed time after the mess he’s created at Leicester.
The January transfer window was the final straw for Rudkin
Leicester’s owners are just as much to blame as Rudkin but following a disastrous January transfer window, the latter needs to pack his bags.
When relegation rivals Wolves and Ipswich were strengthening their squad, Leicester only signed one player, seeing Parma’s Woyo Coulibaly join in a £3 million transfer.
Van Nistelrooy wanted four players after taking the job and as much as this downfall is largely down to him being tactically out of his depth, he hasn’t been helped by those above him.
Ultimately, Van Nistelrooy needs to be sacked to save the Foxes from relegation, and as Keys suggested, Rudkin needs to follow him out the door.
