Ruud van Nistelrooy may still be Leicester City manager for now, but there’s a growing suggestion that he may not be in charge next season.
Van Nistelrooy cast doubt about his future following Leicester’s 3-0 loss to Newcastle United, leaving the club without a win since 26 January in all competitions.
To make matters worse, the Dutchman has accumulated less points than Steve Cooper despite being in charge for an extra six Premier League games.
Graeme Bailey told Leicester City News that the Foxes are considering Liam Rosenior as a potential replacement for the 48-year-old if he leaves at the end of the season and if that is to be the case, it could benefit Jamie Vardy.
Jamie Vardy and Liam Rosenior share same agency
Rosenior could help several Leicester players to thrive if he is appointed but will face a mighty job on his hands.
A mass exodus is expected in the summer and the future of Vardy is also up in the air with his contract up at the end of the season.

But, if the current Strasbourg boss does come to the King Power Stadium, it could make the forward’s future a lot clearer.
According to Transfermarkt, the duo are both part of the same Wasserman agency.
Albeit a small connection, it could play a role in the Leicester legend extending his stay at the club for a while longer.
How is Liam Rosenior faring at Strasbourg?
Leicester aren’t the only club in for the former Hull City manager, with already-relegated Southampton said to be considering a move for Rosenior too.
As it stands, the young English boss is thriving with Strasbourg and with only six games left of the Ligue 1 campaign, sit in the Champions League spots.
It’s a remarkable feat for a team more associated with the lower echelons of the French top flight and his ability to punch above his weight and get results backs up why he is a manager in-demand.
