Leicester City could well be relegated to the Championship this season and it’s now easy to see why they are in this position.
The Foxes secured promotion to the Premier League in 2023/24, largely dominating the second tier under Enzo Maresca.
Despite their excellent form last season, most fans probably weren’t expecting much more than a relegation battle in the current campaign.
However, the manner in which Leicester City is run and the dire displays under Ruud van Nistelrooy have seen fan ire grow of late.
Leicester fans have slammed Jon Rudkin on a couple of occasions already this term, most recently against Fulham.
Speculation over Van Nistelrooy’s future at the King Power Stadium is mounting as well amid a run of seven defeats in a row.
Now, a damning report from the Telegraph regarding Leicester has left fans outraged.

Leicester City fans left furious at their club
Among the points brought up in the report are why Van Nistelrooy has turned on Caleb Okoli, fringe players speaking to the manager about not being picked in the FA Cup, Danny Ward asking to be dropped after Wolverhampton Wanderers, and players feeling unchallenged, with some allegedly having a direct line to the Leicester owner.
On the back of this piece, fans have taken to social media to react and it’s fair to say they are not happy.
One fan wrote: “I’ve read this article about 5 times and I still can’t believe this is my club. What a circus we’ve become. Fallen so far down a cliff and no sign of stopping. Big things need to change. The lack of common sense is so alarming.”
A second added: “As you read it though it makes sense why we are where we are more than 70% of the squad not good enough in more ways than one weak-minded players and a board who couldn’t run a bath and as for top letting all this happen is unforgivable.”
A third Leicester fan claimed: “Tickets way too expensive, and no communication with fans.”
“The club is a shambles, John, and a few years in the wilderness beckons,” another predicted.
Commenting on Ward asking to be dropped, a fifth simply wrote: “Weak mentality.”
A sixth added: “The club seems rotten to the core..the steering wheel has come off.”
While a seventh Foxes fan stated: “All coming out now. Board complicit in failure.”

What Ruud van Nistelrooy has said about his Leicester future
Leicester are still somehow only two points away from safety but given their current form, it’s hard to see them putting together a decent run anytime soon.
Tottenham Hotspur await the Foxes on Sunday before a huge six-pointer against Everton the following week.
Should Leicester lose both of those matches, it’s hard to see them sticking with Ruud.
Commenting on his future on Thursday, as per BBC Sport, the Dutchman said: “I’m focused on getting this team out of the situation we’re in. That’s my only concern. I’m working with everybody involved at Leicester to get the best out of the squad.
“You need to be tough, strong and committed. We’re united as group.”
