Leicester City will not be charged by the Premier League for breaching profit and sustainability rules.
John Percy of The Telegraph confirmed on Tuesday that the Foxes had avoided another PSR charge.
It’s the second time this outcome has been reached after Leicester were charged by the Premier League for a breach of their spending rules in the three-year period leading up the the 2022/23 season.
They won that PSR case in early September 2024 but recent reports have suggested the club may have been charged yet again this campaign and that Leicester would suffer a points deduction.
No other Premier League clubs have been charged and the outcome will seem like a huge victory for the Ruud van Nistelrooy and co, who can fully focus on the their battle to avoid relegation.
But, there is still a chance the Midlanders could face punishment further down the line.

Leicester still facing PSR risk
While Leicester fans celebrate the latest PSR verdict, there is still a black cloud looming over and the threat of being charged hasn’t gone away entirely.
As per The Times, the Foxes are still involved in an ongoing legal battle with the jurisdiction relating to the 2022-23 season, which must be resolved first before any other charges take place after the league appealed Leicester’s successful case
A statement from the Premier League said: “Issues as to the jurisdiction of the Premier League over Leicester City Football Club in relation to PSR compliance are currently the subject of confidential arbitration proceedings.
“Accordingly, neither the league nor the club will make any further comment at this stage about any aspect of the club’s compliance or otherwise with any of the PSR or related rules, save to say that no complaint has been brought against Leicester by the league for any breach of the PSRs for the period ending Season 2023-24.”

How does PSR work?
Clubs can be charged by the Premier League for breaching PSR limits in which top flight teams aren’t permitted to make a loss of £105m over three years.
Everton and Nottingham Forest have both been in breach in the past and have faced points deductions as a result.
Opposition fans seem incensed that Leicester have avoided a charge but the latest news now means there is plenty to play for until the end of the season, with the Foxes still well and truly in the relegation battle.
