This summer feels like it’s going to another summer of upheaval for Leicester City.
Whether they end the season as a Premier League club or heading back to the Championship remains to be seen, but it’s a near-given that changes will be made.
Players on bloated wages will surely be allowed to leave whilst the likes of Mads Hermansen and summer signing Bilal El Khannouss will be of interest to bigger clubs.
It could also be the end of the road for some players who have been given plenty of chances over the years but ultimately failed to live up to expectations.
Patson Daka falls into that category and having scored just one goal all season, his form has proven that Ruud van Nistelrooy was right to not to sign him when in charge of PSV.

Patson Daka favoured Leicester transfer ahead of move to PSV
At the time of Daka’s arrival in 2021, the Zambia international was regarded as one of the best young talents in football.
Scoring goals for fun in a Red Bull Salzburg side that also contained Erling Haaland, many of Europe’s biggest clubs wanted him.
In the end he chose Leicester, with many viewing him as the man to replace Jamie Vardy long term. That hasn’t gone on to happen, but things could’ve been different.

Speaking after a win against West Ham United on his first game in charge, he said: “At a younger age, when he was at Salzburg, I was following him already. I was very interested in him when I was PSV manager, to be honest.
“I think he’s got great potential. That’s what he showed in Austria, scoring a lot of goals, assisting a lot.
“It’s something that I saw in him. He’s only going to get better, I think, developing him on a daily basis. He’s got a lot of potential.”
Patson Daka must leave Leicester in the summer
Some players need time to bed into new surroundings but four years into his Leicester career, we’re yet to see nothing more than flashes of Daka’s potential.
His four-goal haul against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League was the peak of his time with the Foxes but, he has failed to dislodge Vardy from his spot as top dog.
Jake Evans scored a hat-trick for the U21s at the weekend and the 16-year-old forward was named as one of two Leicester youngsters in the squad against Manchester United.
Evans is seen as the heir to Vardy’s throne and his impressive displays already have him on the cusp of first team football.
Daka will represent some monetary value and although he won’t go down as one of the Foxes’ worst purchases of all time, he won’t be considered a successful one.
