The Foxes beat Tottenham Hotspur to climb out of the relegation zone and win their first Premier League game in eight attempts.

At the centre of the win was Jamie Vardy, who rattled Tottenham fans with his celebration and moved himself one step closer to a landmark 200 goals for the club.
Despite that, goals have been hard to come by under Ruud van Nistelrooy which is somewhat surprising given that’s how he made his name.
Under Van Nistelrooy, Leicester have failed to score five times and it’s no shock to here therefore that the Leicester boss wants a striker.
Chuba Akpom is one name that has been linked but there is another forward that has become available that the Foxes should be doing everything they can to sign.

One of those could now be available in the shape of Evan Ferguson.
According to The Athletic, Brighton & Hove Albion are pondering the idea of selling Ferguson permanently.
The Ireland international has been linked with loan moves to Premier League clubs and European sides too.
West Ham United and Marseille appear to be the frontrunners due to Ferguson’s connections with Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi.

Vardy may still be ruling the roost aged 38 but there will be a time where he has to pass the baton onto someone new.
Ferguson, 20, is still at the early stages of his career but has plenty of experience both in the Premier League and on the international stage.
Injuries have somewhat plagued his time at Brighton but when playing, has found the back of the net.

Leicester need players who are ready-made for the top flight, like unlikely hero Bobby De Cordova-Reid, and the forward fits the bill.
Patson Daka and Odsonne Edouard both haven’t cut the cloth at the King Power Stadium which shows why a striker is on the Foxes’ shopping list.
There isn’t many better options than Ferguson right now and given that the 20-year-old could be allowed to leave Brighton permanently, Leicester must make their move immediately.
