Leicester City are entering the most crucial period in their season as the next few weeks could decide their fate.
Next week, Leicester will find out if they’ve breached PSR and as a result, suffer a Premier League points deduction.
One finance expert thinks Leicester have broken the rules, handing them a huge blow in their hopes of avoiding relegation to the Championship.
On top of their PSR issues, Ruud van Nistelrooy is working hard in the transfer window as he aims to bolster his first-team squad.
Multiple areas need improving for the Foxes to survive relegation ahead of their rivals, with one club now making a potentially big move that could impact them.

David Moyes is the priority to replace Sean Dyche at Everton
Everton became the latest club near the bottom of the table to sack their manager, relieving Sean Dyche of his duties after two years in the dugout.
The Toffees decided to let Dyche go after they failed to win any of their previous five matches in the league while scoring just once.
The league’s second-lowest scorers with 15 perhaps made the right call sacking the Englishman, despite him being a survival specialist.
However, doing so could have major implications for Leicester’s season, as Everton are just three points and three places above them in the table.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 16 | 19 | 3 | 8 | 8 | 15 | 25 | -10 | 17 | |
| 17 | 20 | 4 | 4 | 12 | 31 | 45 | -14 | 16 | |
| 18 | 20 | 3 | 7 | 10 | 20 | 35 | -15 | 16 | |
| 19 | 20 | 3 | 5 | 12 | 23 | 44 | -21 | 14 | |
| 20 | 20 | 1 | 3 | 16 | 12 | 44 | -32 | 6 |
Interestingly, the man who has emerged as a leading contender for the job is former Leicester managerial target David Moyes, who spent 11 years at Goodison Park between 2002-2013.
Moyes, much like Dyche, is an expert at dragging teams to survival in the top flight, although the Scotsman does have more credit in the bank previously won the Europa League with West Ham.
So, at a time when van Nistelrooy could leave Leicester this month, Moyes could give Everton a much-needed boost in the relegation rat race.

Moyes holds huge advantage over Ruud van Nistelrooy
In the race for Premier League survival, most clubs would much rather have Moyes in the dugout than van Nistelrooy.
Moyes has managed the third most games in the competition’s history and has a track record of keeping teams in the top flight.
As for van Nistelrooy, he’s very much in the early stages of his managerial career and this is his first proper taste of Premier League football as manager.
So far, he’s struggled across his seven games in charge, losing five of them and conceding 16 goals with Leicester dropping into the relegation zone as a result.
Indeed, if Everton hire Moyes as manager, they could gain the upper hand in the bid for Premier League survival.
