Leicester City are looking to make it two wins in a row for the first time under Ruud Van Nistelrooy when they take on Everton in a 3pm meeting on Saturday.

The Foxes have had a nightmare stint under the Dutchman so far but things appear to have turned a corner in the last seven days.

Leicester City beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 on Sunday, seeing them climb out of the relegation zone and end their seven-game losing streak.

Spurs are obviously really struggling right now but it should give fans and players a boost going into the huge meeting with Everton.

The Toffees are only one place above Leicester in the Premier League table but have looked much improved since changing manager.

In turn, Ruud van Nistelrooy will need to get his team selection spot on for Saturday afternoon’s clash.

Ruud van Nistelrooy could drop Jakub Stolarczyk for Everton vs Leicester City

After picking up his first win in nine attempts, it seems unlikely Van Nistelrooy will want to make too many changes to his starting lineup.

However, the return of Mads Hemansen could be bad news for second-choice goalkeeper, Jakub Stolarczyk.

Speaking in his pre-Everton press conference this week, Van Nistelrooy provided an injury update on Hermansen and confirmed he could return on Saturday.

The Dane is Leicester’s number one but Stolarczyk has been labelled ‘excellent’ since he began filling in between the sticks.

His showing against Tottenham was immense and he was a major reason why the Foxes came away with three points.

Dropping Stolarczyk could see some fan backlash, especially if Leicester do not beat Everton, but there’s a good chance Ruud will want his number-one back starting as soon as possible.

The other change Ruud van Nistelrooy could make vs Everton

While Hermansen coming in is the most obvious change Ruud could make this weekend, another star may be dropped.

James Justin started the win over the Lilywhites and though he was ok in that game, his form this campaign has been woeful.

Woyo Coulibably has now arrived at the club and after making his debut off the bench, could well be in line for a start.
