Leicester City have several players who could be pushing for a move away from the King Power Stadium once the January transfer window opens.
Steve Cooper invested heavily in his first-team squad during the summer, as nine new players arrived at Leicester City.
Some of those signings, most notably Facundo Buonanotte, have flourished for the Foxes while others have seen their game time suffer as a result.
With multiple players perhaps feeling left unhappy about their lack of minutes or current situation at the club, we’ve taken a look at three players who could leave in January.

Wout Faes
Leicester paid £15 million for centre-back Wout Faes from Ligue 1 side Reims in the summer of 2022, and the Belgium international was supposed to be a replacement for Wesley Fofana.
The 26-year-old has since established himself as a key player in Cooper’s back line but is often criticised by supporters for his capacity to commit an error.

Meanwhile, on his last international outing, the Belgium media lambasted Faes’ clumsiness in the box after giving away a penalty.
Although the ball-playing defender has played in each of their 11 Premier League matches this term, Cooper could still look to sell him, as Faes wanted to leave Leicester towards the end of the summer transfer window.
Hamza Choudhury
Hamza Choudhury is another who could push for a move out of the King Power Stadium once January rolls around, as it appears he’s surplus to requirements.
Choudhury recently returned to training after recovering from a dislocated shoulder but even before that setback, the 27-year-old found it difficult to break into the Foxes midfield.
One area of the pitch where Leicester are strong is in the middle of the park, as highlighted by Boubakary Soumare’s recent resurgence and the quality of Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp and Wilfred Ndidi.
The chances of Choudhury disrupting that quartet are incredibly slim and even during the title-winning campaign, the Englishman was used sparingly.
So, following 128 appearances and 19 years at Leicester in total, the tough-tackling midfielder could be shifted on in January, either on loan or permanently.
Luke Thomas
Luke Thomas is the third and final player who could push for a January exit.
The attacking left-back spent last season on loan at Premier League side Sheffield United before joining Middlesbrough in the winter.
Although Cooper isn’t spoilt for choice in the full-back positions, with Ricardo Pereira, Victor Kristiansen and James Justin as the only options, Thomas still hasn’t played a single minute in the top flight.
The 23-year-old has instead started each of their three Carabao Cup games, including the recent hammering at the hands of Manchester United.
For Thomas to further his career and continue developing, it’s best if he’s loaned out or sold permanently in the next window.
