Ipswich Town transfer news: Ben Godfrey set to complete loan move following Leicester links
Ben Godfrey has been linked with Leicester in the past few days after it became apparent that the Foxes would be recruiting in that position.
Godfrey only joined Atalanta in the summer but was told he could leave after hardly featuring for the Serie A giants.
The 26-year-old was of interest to several clubs but according to Fabrizio Romano, Godfrey has chosen to join Ipswich Town on loan until the end of the season.
Having spent four years at Ipswich’s fierce rivals Norwich City, the 26-year-old knows the area all too well.

Gary Lineker has urged Leicester to sign a centre-back this transfer window and it’s hard to disagree.
Only Southampton have conceded more goals than the Foxes, who have let in 44 this season.
Max Aarons is another named linked with Leicester in recent days and he could help provide some much-needed improvement given James Justin’s recent struggles.
Jannik Vestergaard went off injured for the Foxes on Saturday, which only adds more problems to Van Nistelrooy’s list and he will be hoping the club can pull a rabbit out of a hat and bring him in the players he desires.
