There’s four days left of the transfer window and the question on everyone’s lips is: Will Leicester City sign any more players?

This window has largely felt like a waiting game for supporters as they hope and pray for new additions.

Woyo Coulibaly joined from Parma earlier in the month but aside from that, it’s been a frustrating time for Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Time is still on the Foxes’ side though and they could still change their fortunes in the market and end the period with a bang.

So, in light of that, here is all of the latest Leicester City transfer news.

Leicester want Chuba Akpom

A striker is one of Leicester’s priorities this winter and according to reports in the Netherlands, Chuba Akpom is the man in question.

Akpom has averaged a goal or assist every 110 minutes since joining Ajax but could be set to leave Amsterdam following interest from Leicester, Marseille and Sunderland.

The forward is no stranger to football in England having been born and raised here, as well as come through Arsenal’s academy, where he impressed Arsene Wenger.

“I know he has potential, he has an aggressive desire in the box and can brush people away,” Wenger said in 2015.

“He has that intense desire to score that is a good basis and I believe as well it is an encouragement for him to work even harder to show he can play in the first team.”

Wilfred Ndidi’s agent blocks potential move

Wilfred Ndidi looks set to return to training this week after being out with an injury since early December.

It’s welcome news for the Foxes and to their delight, Ndidi offered them two bits of good news after his agent revealed that Monaco had made an enquiry to sign the Nigeria international only for Leicester to reject it.

Ndidi could be in action for Leicester’s trip to Everton on Saturday and it couldn’t come at a better time.

Mathys Tel turns down Chelsea move

Mathys Tel is certainly one of the more ambitious targets that had been looked at by Leicester over the course of the season.

The 19-year-old is rumoured to be fed up with his lack of game time at Bayern Munich and wants to leave for regular first team football.

Chelsea were one of the sides to pounce, however, Tel has turned down a £40m move as he feels that they are no different to Bayern given the amount of competition.

His extortionate wages and lofty ambitions may rule Leicester out of this too, but never say never, especially if Tel thinks a loan to the Foxes suits his career.
